Ever feel like your construction equipment is possessed?
That’s the case in the horror film “Crawler,” directed by Sv Bell. The 2009 movie tells the story of a construction crew trying to solve the mystery of their bulldozer, which appears to have a mind of its own and is fueled by a murderous hatred of the human race.
“I always loved the power of a bulldozer,” Bell says. “It seems like an indestructible, unstoppable raging creature. When I began to make films, I knew I had to do something around that subject.”
Bell says “Crawler” loosely takes its inspiration from the horror flick “Christine,” about a murderous ’58 Chevy.
“Crawler,” a 2010 official selection of the Salt Lake City Film Festival, has yet to be released on DVD in the United States, but if you’re into horror films, you can check out more about the movie at www.crawler-movie.com.
