Palmbeachpost.com: WEST PALM BEACH — It could be a scene out of a disaster flick: the implosion of a 30-story tower in a metropolis' downtown goes wrong, destroying neighboring condos and wreaking havoc on a major byway.
It's highly unlikely that will happen Sunday at 9 a.m. when the hulking condo at 1515 S. Flagler Drive implodes, but neighbors remain uneasy.
"What's going to happen when that building hits the ground?" asked Seth Shulman, property manager of Viking Arms, a condo less than 200 feet from the 1515 Tower. "Is it going to crack our building? Is it going to topple over and fall on top of us? There are quite a few residents concerned."
