BOMAG’s
BC462EB soil compactor combines the designs of refuse compactors with the
functionality of single-drum soil compactors. The BC462EB features hydrostatic
drive, a 255 hp water-cooled Deutz diesel engine and a sealed-frame design. The
BC462EB achieves compaction through its weight (51,000 lb.), the wheel design
and the impact force of the teeth.

Stone
Construction Equipment’s Bulldog Trench Rollers feature the Snap-Tek System,
which allows a manual unit to be converted to remote operation by simply
plugging in the receiver. The Bulldog is powered by a 20 hp Hatz Twin engine
and is available with padfoot drums in 24-in. and 34-in. widths. It pounds the
ground with more than 15,000 lbs. of centrifugal force for optimum compaction
in a single pass. With Snap-Tek, the Bulldog can be operated at ranges up to
100 ft.
