Meeting customers’ aftermarket needs in today’s and tomorrow’s economy is the focus of the 2010 Customer Support Council Seminar from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). The AEM seminar will be held October 3-6, 2010 in Bettendorf, Iowa (Isle Casino Hotel). A special feature is a tour of the John Deere seeding plant, a 20-acre, state-of-the-art facility in Moline, Illinois.

Sessions include case studies, panel discussions, technology-use examples and plenty of networking opportunities, with an industry emphasis on construction, agriculture, forestry and mining equipment. The program is targeted to managers of parts, service, training and warranty operations and reinforces the bottom-line importance of product support in customer satisfaction.

Among the topics:

  • Inventory Control

  • Dealer Training

  • Import/Export Regulations

  • Tier 4 Impact on the Customer

  • How to Sell Value

  • Service Parts Management

  • Warranty Management

  • Online Training

  • Social Media in the Customer Support Mix
AEM’s educational programming offers CEU - Continuing Education Credits to provide extra value to attendees. Complete seminar details and registration information are posted online in the "education" section of the AEM website – www.aem.org
