CONEXPO Russia at the Construction Equipment and Technologies Specialized Demonstration Show, or CTT 2011, opened May 31 with a positive mood and show growth as the Russian economy continues to improve and billions of dollars are allocated for infrastructure and related building projects.
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers reports that registered exhibitors in its CONEXPO Russia exhibit area increased by 46 percent and its outdoor and indoor exhibit areas had a 30-percent increase of space.
This is the 12th year for CTT, which is the largest construction trade show in Russia and Eastern Europe. Overall, the 2011 CTT show has more than 750 exhibitors and more than 100,000 square meters of space, both double-digit increases compared to 2010. CTT 2011 is expecting 20,000 show visitors.
"CONEXPO Russia exhibitors realize the enormous value of first-hand contact with buyers and decision makers in this expanding region and the opportunity to increase or strengthen brand presence," said Show Director Melissa Magestro.
The CONEXPO Russia partnership with CTT organizer, Media Globe, brings another international element to CTT with CONEXPO Russia’s focus on OEM and North American products.
CTT Expo 2011 and the CONEXPO Russia exhibit area run through June 4 at the Crocus International Exhibition Center in Moscow.
