Commerce City,
Colo. – Atlas Copco stores in Nashville
and Knoxville, Tenn.,
and Miami hosted
Dynapac open houses during October. Each of the three stores in the Southeast
Region invited local customers and contractors to visit and become better
acquainted with the Dynapac paving and compaction lines. The Dynapac open house
in South Florida was held in conjunction with the grand opening of the new Miami store.
The open house events were held on October 20th in Miami,
October 25th in Knoxville, and October 27th in Nashville. Each store
emphasized products of special interest to the contractors in their area. In Miami, Dynapac’s F1000
tracked paver and double-drum asphalt rollers, including the CS142, were
featured. In Knoxville,
the F1000W 10-foot wheeled paver, the full line of tandem vibratory compactors
and the CA362 single drum soil compactor were spotlighted. In Nashville, the focus was again on Dynapac’s
line of 10-foot paving machines and asphalt rollers, which meet the state of Tennessee’s
specifications for size, weight, compaction and other requirements. ROC T30 and
T35 drill rigs used in construction, Atlas Copco’s Powercrusher rock crushers
and the Unigrout grout plants were also on display.
The new Miami store, opened in large part due to the strong South Florida road construction market, welcomed numerous
key contractors to its event. “Everyone we spoke to was thrilled to see our
extensive parts inventory and meet the sales and service people,” said Jeff
Dolezal, Atlas Copco Miami-area sales representative. “Having local support for
the Dynapac line is very important to our customers.”
Warren
Legg, Knoxville
branch manager, reported that the turnout at his store included a mix of large
and small contractors, as well as utility contractors, many of whom came
straight to the store from the job site. “Road construction is nothing new to
us,” he said. “We have staff here that have experience in this market that
pre-dates Atlas Copco’s purchase of Ingersoll Rand’s Drilling Solutions
Division.”
The Nashville store also
reported a strong turnout. “In fact, we plan to host an open house like this
every year from now on,” commented Stacy Lynn, the store’s sales and rental
product specialist. “That way, we can keep everyone familiar with new
equipment, as well as the regular improvements to existing equipment that are
added all the time.”
Andrew
Andre, Atlas Copco’s regional manager for the Southeastern U.S., said, “We
greatly appreciated the time contractors in Florida
and Tennessee
took to attend these events. Our open houses were very timely to re-introduce
Dynapac road machinery products in these markets where our support may have
been a little inconsistent in the past. The Dynapac line today looks a lot
different than it did even a few years ago…and we received great customer
feedback on this at these open houses.”
