Big John Mfg. Inc. Announces Shipment of Large Order to Customer in Iraq

Big John Tree Transplanter Mfg. Inc. announced the shipment of a large order of equipment to a customer in Iraq. “This represents the efforts of everyone here at Big John in Heber Springs and also our International Sales agents with Dorian Drake International in White Plains, New York” company Vice-president Will Humphreys stated. This order consists of seven Big John Model 90D’s mounted on new MACK truck chassis’.
“The signs of the upcoming economic slowdown prompted Big John to actively pursue overseas business about 4 years ago. It has definitely paid off” said Humphreys. “Exports will represent approximately 35% of our revenue this year”.
In addition to Iraq, Big John has entered markets in Russia, Mongolia, Vietnam, Ukraine, Spain, The United Kingdom, Lebanon, The United Arab Emirates and of course, Canada and Mexico.
“Currently we are working on establishing customers and distributors in all of these countries in addition to China, India, Turkey, Malaysia and The Philippines. Later this year we expect to solidify distributorship relationships in several Central and South American countries also” added Humphreys.
All in all Big John sees huge growth potential not only overseas but also here at home as the economy slowly shakes off the effects of the current economic slowdown. “Big John is poised to meet the demands of all of our customers; the World is becoming increasingly interdependent on each other and we at Big John welcome the opportunity to assist our customers wherever they may be”.
