LIVERMORE, Calif. – January 26, 2010 – Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) recently named Joel Frost as national sales manager of network products and services and Fred Moser as laser scanner sales manager. Both positions are new at TPS.

Joel Frost is a former senior regional sales manager for the Topcon Survey Business Unit. As the national sales manager of network products and services, Frost reports to Charles Rihner, vice president of planning for the Topcon Emerging Business Unit.

Rihner said, “Joel’s history with Topcon and knowledge of the industries we serve will greatly benefit our focus on expanding RTK network solutions.”

Fred Moser has assumed responsibilities as laser scanner sales manager reporting to Brice Walker, vice president of sales for the Topcon Survey Business Unit. Moser, who formerly served as TPS technical sales representatives, will work with all survey regional managers to develop opportunities and offer technical sales assistance.

“Fred’s technical expertise and commitment to success are becoming well known to dealers and to many customers who have benefited from his knowledge and expertise,” Walker said. “The nature of the scanner business is tailor-made for Fred’s skill set and I am very pleased to see him take on this new challenge, assisting us in expanding our distribution and ultimately growing all of our businesses.”
