Barko Debuts New Mulcher

Superior, Wisconsin – Barko Hydraulics LLC released the much awaited, new 920 Industrial Tractor/Mulcher. The 920 is the latest addition and smallest model within their industrial tractor line-up, delivering all the advanced Barko features within a smaller package. Here’s how the models line up: The 920 Mulcher offers 230hp and delivers 67gpm to the mulcher head. The 930 Mulcher offers  305hp and delivers 96gpm to the mulcher head. The 937 Mulcher offers  375hp and delivers 105gpm to the mulcher head.

Barko’s 920 Industrial Tractor/Mulcher was purpose engineered from day one, and was built to cut its’ way through the most demanding right-of-way land clearing and site prep applications. With a highly maneuverable carrier built to withstand stress and tough terrain, the 920 is the ideal mulcher for commercial and municipal applications. It also delivers lower fuel consumption, increased work productivity, and a low total-cost-of-operation.

The 920 cab station incorporates safety, comfort, visibility and convenience with ergonomically arranged electronic controls and an air suspension seat to reduce fatigue and increase performance. Engineered for durability and comfort, the advanced climate control and soundproof cab is optimal for any job site. Like all Barko tractor cabs, the 920 cabs are completely weather sealed, pressurized, vibration isolated and come equipped with a pre-cleaner and air filtration to provide a clean environment for the operator.  Extra large door gaskets and exceptionally well sealed windows keep the elements out and the operator comfortable in all conditions. The cab is ROPS, FOPS and OPS certified.

Notable specifications include: Cummins QSB 6.7 230HP engine, 4-wheel drive, 100” wheelbase, 17.75” to 20.25” ground clearance, 45° Steering articulation, 15° carrier oscillation, two travel speeds (6.0 mph and 15 mph), 75 gallon fuel reservoir (12.5 hour run-time), 9 external cab lights for 360 degree lighting, AM/FM radio XM satellite ready CD player with antenna and 2 speakers and multiple add-on options.
