BASIC Model 700 Pneumatic 7-Wheel Roller

BASIC.jpg
The BASIC Model 700 pneumatic 7-wheel roller offers greater compaction than a conventional 9-wheel machine in its weight class because the same amount of weight is dispersed between fewer tires. The operator is centered in the machine allowing for greater visibility on either side of the machine.

This machine can be used to prep base, asphalt or even chip seal. All wheels oscillate independently for 100% surface contact at all times. The Model 700 is excellent for small jobsites and can easily be towed behind a half-ton pick-up when ballasts are empty.

BOMAG BC462EB

Bomag_bc462eb-4x3-72dpi.jpg
BOMAG BC462EB The BOMAG BC462EB soil compactor features hydrostatic drive and sealed frame design.

“For this concept, we’ve taken innovations from our single drum rollers and meshed them with proven design features from our refuse compactors,” said Dave Dennison, product manager at BOMAG Americas. “The BC462EB is very well-suited to push, spread and compact soil for site development, road, bridge and dam projects.”

Providing outstanding power, gradeability and traction, this new model features a 255-hp water-cooled diesel engine. At 51,000 pounds, superior compaction is achieved through a combination of weight, wheel and scraper design, and impact force of the teeth.

SAKAI SV610-III Series Soil Rollers

Sakai-SV610-III-small-RGb(300).jpg
Sakai America has introduced its 12-ton class soil rollers, the SV610-III Series, to help site prep, roadbuilding and earthmoving contractors compact more material faster.

The SV610-III Series comes in three model variations: the SV610D-III, a 27,555-pound smooth drum model designed for rock and granular materials; the SV610T-III, a 27,710-pound padfoot roller for cohesive materials, silts and clays; and the SV610TF-III, 32,560-pound model that includes a padfoot/smooth drum combination. The padfoot drum in the SV610TF-III is encased within a bolt-on smooth drum shell that can be removed when working on cohesive soils. This series comes with an 84-inch drum width and is designed for high yardage compaction jobs on a wide range of soils and rockfill applications, including highway and airport subbases, embankments, dams, reservoirs and large commercial tracts.

The SV610-III Series compactors are powered by a fuel-efficient Tier III Cummins QSB4.5, a 148-hp water-cooled, turbocharged diesel engine. All models come standard with dual amplitude. The SV610TF-III offers amplitudes up to 0.06" while the SV610D-III and SV610T-III offer amplitudes up to 0.09". All three models also offer high centrifugal forces up to 58,450 pounds.
