Atlas Copco
The new HB 3600 by Atlas Copco fits perfectly to the 35 to 63 metric ton carrier weight class. The breaker delivers 46% more performance per ton of service weight and offers a 30% higher efficiency compared with other hydraulic breakers in this class. Delivering an impact rate of up to 560 blows per minute, the HB 3600 is ideal for applications such as demolition, trenching, foundation work, tunneling, rock mining and secondary breaking.
The HB 3600 has more unique Atlas Copco features. Thanks to energy recovery, it is possible to exceed a 100% output without increasing the hydraulic input during peak periods. With constant impact energy given, the HB 3600 is able to increase blow frequency and therefore to boost percussive performance.

Atlas Copco also introduced the SB 452, the final addition to its new generation of solid body hydraulic breaker attachments. The new breaker offers a number of performance advantages over the model it replaces, and is ideal for demolition, road construction, trenching, landscaping and secondary breaking.
The SB 452 offers a high power-to-weight ratio and boasts a maximum impact rate of 1,260 blows per minute, representing a 61% increase over its predecessor. Overall operating efficiency has been improved by 23%. The new 972-pound breaker is suitable for carriers in the 6.5 to 13 metric ton weight class and requires oil flow of 14.5 to 27.7 gallons per minute at a pressure range of 1,450 to 2,175 psi.
Chicago Pneumatic
Providing an efficient solution for breaking concrete, asphalt, frozen soil and brickwork, Chicago Pneumatic’s new full line of hydraulic handheld breakers offers a high power-to-weight ratio and is ideal for demolition, building renovation, road maintenance and utility construction projects.
The new breaker line consists of four standard models. The 71-pound BRK 95 delivers 103 foot-pounds of blow energy at an impact rate of 1,150 to 1,500 blows per minute (bpm), depending on hydraulic flow. Perfect for breaking heavy asphalt, reinforced concrete and foundations, the BRK 95 provides enough power to replace small breaker attachments in certain applications.
Other standard breakers in the line include the 56-pound BRK 70 (1,500 bpm average), the 46-pound BRK 55 (1,800 bpm average) and the 41-pound BRK 40 (1,600 bpm average). Each model has a slim design to provide the operator with a clear view of the working area, and each is equipped with basic vibration dampening.

NPK Construction Equipment
NPK Construction Equipment Inc.’s GH-10 hydraulic hammer has a working weight of 4,200 lb and an impact energy class of 4,000 ft-lb that matches up to carriers from 23 to 33 tons (21 to 30 metric tonnes). Its unique shock-absorbing mounting bracket, standard on these hammers, uses special heavy duty rubber mounts to absorb shock, recoil, and impulse vibration minimizing machine wear and improving operator comfort. The latest improvements include a new internal drain system that increases seal life, bottom tie rod nuts for easier serviceability, as well as, a hammer bracket with an enclosed bottom for better protection for the hammer and tool assembly.
