Stoltz Introduces New Spreader Control Center

Responding to owner and operator requests for simplified controls, Stoltz recently introduced the new Spreader Control Center, which combines all the spreader control functions into an easy to use interface. “We could not find a user-friendly controller on the market, so we designed our own. We used the latest technology in hydraulics and electronics to simplify calibration and operation”, said Stoltz president Bernard Hershberger.

Initially designed for the company’s new dust free dual auger style soil stabilization spreaders, the new controller was recently adapted to the conveyor chain style Site Spreader. “Now, all the operator does is enter the application rate in pounds per square yard and drive. The spreader will automatically adjust to maintain a constant spread rate” said Hershberger.

While most operators are expected to take advantage of the spreaders “automatic mode”, the spreader can still be run manually should the need arise.

Site Spreaders can be used to spread portland cement, lime, fly ash, kiln dust, and similar materials. They are filled pneumatically from bulk material transport trucks. They use a patent pending slide gate to seal the hopper during loading, while the proprietary “double reverse expanded flow” air circulation system drops dust before air exits the hopper into the specially designed filter. Level spreading is accomplished by a patent pending adjustable spreading auger, with no secondary vane feeder needed.

The price includes free on-site training anywhere in the lower 48 states. Contact Stoltz Site Spreaders at 800-843-8731 or online at www.cementspreaders.com.
